A fantastic family Lindzy, Jimmy, Coven, and MaHaley had a wonderful wedding event full of laughter and joy. Coven walked the beautiful bride down the aisle. MaHaley was absolutely gorgeous as Lindzy's flower girl. I'm showing some of the images -in random order. The wedding was at Grand Traditions who did a marvelous job putting on the wedding. If you'd like to see their webcast, click Here. It goes for about 3 minutes, and will reveal the great wedding story of this day.

Marla and Kevin got married! Yeah! Great couple and what's known as a photogenic bride. She did the best "presentation" set up (those who were there know what I'm talking about) of any bride I ever saw -before tossing the bouqet. The "girls" were cheering before she tossed it! The dancing at reception was wild and fun. The wedding was more beautiful with the expensive but wonderful makeover to the chapel. The Northeast Wedding Chapel always provides a great wedding with their glorious chapel, grounds, and reception hall. Now it's even better! If you'd like to see Marla and Kevin's wedding webcast, click to load (give it a minute to load, and it has music) -enjoy.

I had lunch with a group of wedding professionals from the Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth at the beautiful Colonial Country Club. Julie Brauer hosted and did a wonderful job. (This is a fantastic country club!) I loved the quality of service, food, atmosphere. (and of course, many of us attend the Colonial every year too, so we know professionalism) It was perfect. I've included a few pics (Please excuse my cell-phone images) of Mr Hogan's locker and portrait on display. (By the way, anyone can be married at the Colonial -although you may need a sponser -contact Julie) I also sat with Dennis and Barbara Beaty of D and B Video, and my dear friend Lucia Bitnar of Foster Blue. (Cheryl Allgood was also there, and one of the great coordinators from Foster Blue...but she sat at a different table to network.) If you need a wedding planner -Foster Blue can take away some of that stress! Randal Stout is the 3-D guy in black and white...He is a great disk jockey and master of ceremonies. Check him out. It is so refreshing to shoot a wedding and not hear a hapless dj keep calling the bride and groom by the title bride and groom. A master of ceremonies should be smart enough to learn names, and know how to class-up a reception. Randal might be the answer to your wedding! I also spent time with Julie Alzaiton, a very good photographer who took the time to show me a dynamite bridal image she recently did. (I love talking shop with fellow photogs). Last but not least - I loved the display and work of Carrie from The Event Messenger. Really wonderful stationary, invitations and announcements. Beautiful work.

Kenia and David got married! By far, one of the nicest couples I have ever met. I loved photographing them for their engagements. What a great time. Their wedding was a blast. It was full of love, family, friendship and laughter. Good time by all! It was at the Corner Wedding Chapel. You can peek at their wedding webcast by just clicking! It will play about 3 minutes.

I had a ton of fun with Jordan and Casey on their engagements! We started in Grapevine and did the town going to Southlake, Westlake, and then caught Arlington for sunset. Casey and Jordan are big sports fans, so we included engagements at the Ballpark in Arlington, and the new Cowboy Stadium. The Stadium was just being completed. Every time some announcer on TV mentions how old the stadium is, Casey and Jordan will be able to look at each other and say "Yup, we've been married x-years now!"

They will be married at the newly restored -and beautiful Northeast Wedding Chapel, in July. Be there are be square! Here is the link to their webcast.

Visiting Diamond Oaks Country Club today...this is going to sound corny but, it is a "hidden diamond" of a country club. South of 820, and north of 121 close to the Denton Highway in Northeast Fort Worth. Beautiful grounds, club house overlooking the fairways, it is a real gem. James Bond (yes, I know!) is Director of Catering and puts on a great wedding! Details can be left to him -and his staff who will bring you a flawless wedding!

Going back in time...Here is a wedding webcast from Diamond Oaks. On this webcast, it will switch to my website, but you can hit the back button to return to the blog. Enjoy.

I spent Saturday with Jason and Jennifer kicking around in Dallas. They are a fantastic couple! Very good looking too! (photographers dream subjects) We went a few places I knew about -then a couple Jason knew about -then discovered places too! We spent out change on Ross in the meters...then everywhere we went, we searched for parking meters already ticking. Isn't that crazy? Usually I've got a ton of change in the car...not that day! We began the day where Jason proposed. That was cool. Jason and Jennifer will be married July 18 at Chapelle. Here is their engagement webcast-enjoy!

Isn't it cool to go to happy events? I've got the greatest job in the world. Jennifer and Chip are about as in love as two people in this world can get. It was so much fun to photograph their special day. The wedding was at the Little Chapel in the Woods. One of my favorite places to photograph. The reception was at the Wildwood Inn, another fantastic place!

We had fun taking shots around the estate, and in the Inn. Here are some shots. Here is their wedding video. Enjoy.

I was invited to the Bridal Fashion Show at the Ruthe Jackson Center in Grand Prairie. Had a nice time and was very impressed with how beautifully Cheryl Algood dressed the center's ballroom. Cheryl also had a fashion show to entertain us with gowns from Distinctive Elegance of Cedar Hill.
Cheryl asked if I'd photograph one of the models around the center. She asked for a volunteer, and Lacey agreed. She along with an assistant from the bridal salon went with me out front to a beautiful Bentley automobile (sister car to the Rolls Royce). The car was from Romantic Remembrances. Lacey's assistant carefully kept her gown airborne, and even restricted me to 3 spots around the car for photographs. She would set the gown down and with Lacey in place I would shoot what I could. We only had about 10 minutes, but we had fun. Lacey was a beautiful model.
